The chronometer of calibre 17RS:

A chronometer is a high-precision watch that has passed all the tests of the C.O.S.C (Official Swiss Chronometer Control). Each movement is individually tested for 15 days and nights, in 5 positions and at three different temperatures, while operating in some very demanding conditions. To earn the title of chronometer, a mechanical movement, either automatic of manual, must meet seven criteria set by the ISO 3159 standard and applied by the C.O.S.C principally, it must maintain an accuracy between -4/+6 seconds per day.
